The name Garnet Leaf was inspired by the deep, rich red color associated with our first chakra (it's also the color
of my birthstone!). Our root chakra is one of the energy centers in our body, located at the base of our spine, it represents our connection to the earth... our purpose here. Leaves are always growing and changing with the seasons, like the cycles of our lives. For me, these two ideas fit together perfectly with yoga.
The word yoga means union, uniting the body, mind and spirit.
